Pokemon Game

Pokemon is a Japanese brand of video games, cards, and other media. It has existed for over two decades now and is currently one of the most popular franchises in the world. As time goes on, each generation of Pokemon introduces new bird species to keep up with the trend of birds being powerful creatures in battle-based games. Today we’ll be counting down the 20 best bird Pokemon of all time.

Bird Pokemon List [2022]

This is a list of bird Pokemon, so please make your selections in the comments section. Have you noticed any of your favorites birds?

1. Eiscue

This ice-type Pokemon is one of the cutest birds you will find in Galar. Its body is covered with a layer of ice, which it uses as a shield to protect itself from attacks. Eiscue has two forms: One where its head is inside the protective ice and another where it’s outside; The second form is more vulnerable to attacks but can use its ice head to create powerful projectiles.

2. Vullaby

This dark/flying type Pokemon is a female-only species, as males of its kind don’t exist. It has the same body shape and size as Pidove but with different colors: while females are purple or blue, males are red or orange. Vullaby wears bones around their necks like necklaces and they use these bones to fight. They can also use them as a means of attack or defense.

3. Mandibuzz

This dark/flying type Pokemon is the evolved form of Vullaby. It has a similar body shape and size as Braviary but with different colors: while females are purple or blue, males are red or orange. Mandibuzz can suck the life out of its opponents by using its wings to create a gust of wind that drains their health. It can also use them as a means of attack or defense

4. Delibird

This ice/flying type Pokemon is the only one in its family with a different color from other birds. It has an all-white body except for its red beak, which makes it look like Santa Claus’ hat! Delibird can carry gifts around in its tail and give them to those who deserve them most during Christmas time.

5. Cramorant

This flying/water type Pokemon is a new addition to the bird family in Galar. It has a long neck and bill, which it uses to catch its prey. Cramorant can swallow things much bigger than itself thanks to its expandable stomach.

6.  Chatot

This normal/flying type Pokemon is a common sight in Alola. It has blue feathers with yellow markings on its wings and face that look like eyes when viewed from above. Its tail ends in two long spikes which can be used as weapons or tools for digging holes into trees to make nests inside them. Chatot makes sounds like human speech, which is how it got its name.

7. Spearow

This normal/flying type Pokemon is one of the smallest birds in Galar. It has brown feathers with yellowish tints on its wings and a black beak which make it look like an owl or crow at first glance but closer inspection reveals that these markings are actually eyes when viewed from above! Spearow can use its sharp talons to fight or to catch prey

8. Fearow

This normal/flying type Pokemon is the evolved form of Spearow. It has brown feathers with yellowish tints on its wings and a black beak which make it look like an owl or crow at first glance but closer inspection reveals that these markings are actually eyes when viewed from above! Fearow is much larger than Spearow and can use its powerful beak and talons to catch prey or fight enemies.

9. Wingull

This water/flying type Pokemon is a common sight in the Hoenn region. It has blue feathers and a long, green beak which it uses to catch its prey. Wingull can use its wings to fly or to create powerful gusts of wind that can knock opponents over.

10. Pelipper

Pelipper is a dual-type Water/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Wingull starting at level 25.

Pelipper is a blue and white seabird with a large bill. The lower mandible of its bill is yellow, and the upper mandible is pink. There are two black markings on top of its head, and it has a yellow face. It has round eyes with black pupils and no visible sclera. Its wings are white, and there is a dark blue pattern across them like an X shape; the tips of these feathers are also dark blue. There is a yellow marking at each shoulder that resembles a stylized letter T. It has a long, dark blue tail with a white band near the end.

11. Ducklett

Ducklett is a Water/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves into Swanna starting at level 35. Ducklett are light blue, duck-like Pokémon with darker blue marking around its eyes and wings that resemble eyebrows. The male has a darker head than the female, while the female has lighter wings than the male. A small, red gem is situated at the base of its beak that can fire out laser-like beams.

12. Swanna

Swanna is a dual Water/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Ducklett starting at level 35 and does not evolve further unless through capturing Ash’s Pikachu for the first time in the anime. Swanna is a white swan with an orange beak and legs, as well as blue eyes. There are small, feathery areas on its wings that resemble eyelashes. A large, feathery crest extends from the back of its head.

13. Hoothoot

Hoothoot is a dual Normal/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves into Noctowl starting at level 20. Hoothoot has large, red eyes and its body resembles an owl with two brown wings that are each tipped with five “fingers”. There is a white, circular pattern on the underside of its wings.

14. Noctowl

Noctowl is a dual Normal/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves from Hoothoot starting at level 20 and does not evolve further unless through capturing Ash’s Pikachu for the first time in the anime. Noctowl has orange eyes, a white face with red eyebrows, and a large brown body with wings that are tipped with white. Its talons are black and the tips of its wings are red.

15. Murkrow

Murkrow is a Dark/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves into Honchkrow starting at level 25. Murkrow is a small black bird with a long tail and red eyes. Its wings are tipped with white and have two spikes on the leading edge. The feathers on its body are matted and oily looking. A ruff of black feathers surrounds its neck, and a tuft resembling a bad haircut sits atop its head.

16. Honchkrow

Honchkrow is a Dark/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It evolves from Murkrow starting at level 25 and does not evolve further unless through capturing Ash’s Pikachu for the first time in the anime. Honchkrow is a large black bird with a brown beak and talons, and red eyes. It has a feathery tail, ruff of feathers around its neck, and a “crown” of feathers on its head.

17. Natu

Natu is a dual Psychic/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves into Xatu starting at level 25, which was originally the only way to obtain it until an event. Natu is a tiny, green bird Pokémon with red eyes and black markings around its eyes that resemble eyebrows. Its long, pointed tail has a black stripe at the base and red-and-yellow stripes that continue to its tip.

18. Xatu

Xatu is a dual Psychic/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves from Natu starting at level 25, which was originally the only way to obtain it until an event. Xatu stands on two thin, black legs. Its plumage is mostly green with a red crest on top of its head and two yellow rings around its eyes, which resemble sunglasses.

19. Sigilyph

Sigilyph is a dual Psychic/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Yamask starting at level 34 and does not evolve further unless through capturing Ash’s Pikachu for the first time in the anime. Sigilyph is an avian Pokémon resembling a large hummingbird, with several orange and blue markings on its wings. Its small feet are blue, and it has a large head with large red eyes.

20. Dodrio

Dodrio is a triple Normal/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Doduo starting at level 31. Dodrio is a tall, brown bird with three long, thin necks and a large beak. Each neck has two heads, one on each end, and the heads are different colors: black, white, and pink. There are two thin, white wings on each side of its body and a tail made of three long, thin feathers.

Pikipek is a dual Normal/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It evolves into Trumbeak starting at level 14, which then evolves into Toucannon starting at level 28. Pikipek resembles a small woodpecker with black eyes, yellow beaks and feet, rounded wings and two tail feathers. Its head and upper body are white, while the rest of its feathers are black.

24. Toucannon

Toucannon is a dual Normal/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It evolves from Trumbeak starting at level 28. Toucannon is a large, black bird with a long beak and tail. Its head, throat and chest are white, while the rest of its body is black. It has red eyes, a long pointed beak and large feet. Toucannon is the final form of Pikipek.

25. Rufflet

Rufflet is a dual Normal/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Bidoof starting at level 20. Rufflet is a small, brown bird with large eyes and a thick beak. There are three feathers on top of its head, which are red, yellow and blue. Its wings are stubby and its tail is very short. Rufflet is the male counterpart of Vullaby.

26. Braviary

Braviary is a dual Normal/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Rufflet starting at level 54. Braviary is a large, red and white bird. Its head, neck and chest are white, while the rest of its body is red. There are three blue feathers on top of its head, which resemble a bald eagle’s head. 27. Taillow

Taillow is a dual Normal/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves into Swellow starting at level 22. Taillow is a small, blue bird with a long tail and red eyes.
